According to Reuters , Nokia has started deliveries of its new top-of-the-range model N900, a key product for the world’s top phone maker in its battle against rivals iPhone and Blackberry. The following article is from Reuters: Nokia Chief Executive Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo said in a speech the company started deliveries of the phone on Tuesday. The N900 model is Nokia’s first phone running Linux Maemo operating system, which analysts see as a key for Nokia to gain back ground in the coming years. Nokia has kept its overall market share stable, close to 40 percent, but it has lost share among more expensive models to the likes of Apple and RIM. High-end products are important for Nokia because the company has not only lost market share there, but its average selling prices have declined faster than the industry average. Nokia 5730 Reviewed

The folks at Tech Radar reviews the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic. If you have a min or two, head over to this post and read the review The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic has plenty of decent features that should make it very attractive, and it delivers an exceptional music performance. But overall it has a hybrid feel to it that helps make its design less than appealing. Its bulkiness is a drawback unless you’re really taken with the idea of a QWERTY keyboard on a music-centred mobile. Pitched at a target market where it’s competing for attention against plenty of slick, well featured touchscreen smartphones, it’s unlikely to be a chart-topper.
