Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is not just a mobile phone, but a revolution. This phone has combined the power and potential of mobile phone with that of the Play Station. Both of the industries, i.e. Smartphone and gaming were desperately waiting for the introduction of this phone. With striking resemblance with Sony’s PSP, it gives the same gaming experience. The mobile phone was earlier known Xperia Z1 before the company changed its name to Xperia Play.

Coming to the specifications of this great gaming phone, it consists of a 4” screen having 854 X 480 pixel resolution. The OS of Sony Xperia Play is Android Gingerbread v2.3, which ensures fast processing system. It has got a 3.5 mm audio jack along with noise reduction microphone.

The 5 MP camera of this phone ensures that you capture all the beautiful memories. Also, the 720p HD video capture allows you to record videos. The Graphic rendering at 59.1 fps gives the best gaming experience. You will feel as if you are playing on a Play Station. There are many games available for Sony Xperia Play including Tekken, Need for Speed, Gully Cricket etc.

There are many things which make Sony Xperia Play the best Smartphone available in the market these days. The gaming capabilities of this phone are largely heightened because of the Gingerbread OS. So if you are tech savvy guy and looking for a great gaming device inculcated a mobile phone then there is nothing better than Xperia Play.

However, the phone lacks on some specifications and features which its predecessors have got. Despite of some deficiencies this phone, it is a ground breaking mobile phone which will surely set the mobile phone industry on fire.  Long way to go SONY!!!!!
