The Nokia 6220 Classic is a sophisticated & candy bar designed 3G Smartphone which comes in a choice of two colours. The handset comes in a black coloured casing which comes with turquoise blue coloured keys which make the numbers & letter options stand out. A purple coloured casing is truly striking & pleasing on the eye which gives the handset an element of fun & surprise as it looks like a fashion phone. The 6220 Classic comes in a curvaceous candy bar shaped casing which has a solid feel & weighs ninety grams. The overall size of the casing feels good to hold & allows the user to operate their Smartphone in a single hand as the casing is 15.2mm deep by 46.5mm wide by 108mm long. Above the well spaced out keypad is a navigation key & a 2.2 Inch QVGA screen which displays up to 16 million colours on a high resolution screen.

An integrated high quality camera features complete with video capabilities provides a useful & fun feature on this technology focused Smartphone. A five megapixel camera comes with easy to use camera & picture settings to ensure a perfect picture or video is captured for the user. The camera has an amazing Carl Zeiss™ lens which provides a clear & focused shot for the user. The user can use the auto focus light & xenon flash when in duller surroundings to capture a brighter & clearer shot. The user can capture their pictures in landscape or portrait. A second camera is mainly used for 3G video calling as is a CIF camera. The user can use the CIF camera when taking part in a face to face 3G video call which can be enjoyed with another video calling compatible user. The Nokia 6220 Classic supports both video recording in VGA format & video playback. The user can record & playback their own recordings as well as playing back recording which have been sent to them in a message or as an email attachment.

This 3G Smartphone comes with a built in GPS receiver complete with A-GPS function which allows the user to get directions to their next meeting on their stylish handset. The user can communicate & stay in contact with others by using the built in messaging services. An email service supports attachments in all popular document formats which allow the user to send & receive text documents & pictures attachments. The Nokia 6220 Classic comes with a MMS multimedia messaging service which allows the user to share pictures & videos with any contact that has an email address or is MMS service on their phone. A MMS message can contain text & sound with either a picture or a video recording. The user can search the web for music, ringtones & much more using the built Web browser complete with HTML, XHTML & TCP/IP connection. The 6220 Classic comes with 120 megabytes of internal user memory & comes with a memory card slot which allows the user to extend their memory capabilities further. The user can extend their Smartphone's memory up to a huge 8 gigabytes using a MicroSD™ memory card in the slot provided.

This sophisticated 3G Smartphone comes with a Symbian operating system complete with S60 3rd edition software which provides a user friendly Smartphone interface. The built in 3G HSDPA technology allows the user to enjoy Broadband speed connectivity & multitasking capabilities on the 6220 Classic. The user can experience high speed connectivity & fast transfers rates thanks to the built in EDGE & HSCSD technology. The user can connect to other compatible devices including a PC, printer, laptop or headset using either a cabled USB connection or a wireless Bluetooth® connection between the devices. The battery is a rechargeable using the power adapter provided & will provide up to three & a half hours GSM talk time or up to two & a half WCDMA talk time. A fully charged battery can provide the user with approximately two hundred & fifty hours of standby battery time.

The 6220 Classic supports a wide selection of ringing tones & alert sounds which allow the user to personalise their new Smartphone with fun & lively ringing tones to suit the users personality. The user can download ringing tones & alerts which can include MP3 sound, polyphonic, true tones, MIDI & video ringing tones. When the user feels the need for some sound entertainment they can access the FM radio feature or the built in music player on the 6220 Classic which will provide all the entertainment a user on the move requires. The user can download their favourite songs in MP3, WMA, ACC, ACC+ or eAAC+ format. A built in FM radio comes with a radio RDS feature which allows the user to listen to the radio whilst reading information provided by the radio station on their screen. The Nokia 6220 Classic comes with an easy to use calendar complete with organiser features which will keep the user full informed when it comes to special dates & appointments. The Nokia 6220 Classic is a high capable Smartphone which supports GSM & WCDMA network technology. The user can use their handset worldwide but the coverage is fully dependent on the user's network operator.
