Google teste un système de freemium sur Google Maps

Google teste actuellement un système d’icônes personnalisées et payantes représentant les commerçants sur les plans de Google Maps pour l’Australie. L’intérêt c’est que, moyennant paiement, les entreprises pourraient afficher un logo à l’endroit de leur boutique plutôt que l’icône générique habituellement affichée. C’est donc un système de freemium pur et simple, offrant une meilleure visibilité pour les entreprises acceptant de payer, mais sans pénaliser celles ne payant pas.
