600 millions d'écrans tactiles livrés en 2009

Les « touch screen » représentent plus du quart du marché mobile.

Popularisés par l’iPod Touch, puis l’iPhone, les écrans tactiles ont représenté 376 millions de livraisons à destination de l’industrie mobile en 2009, soit 25,6% des téléphones mobiles vendus dans le monde.

Le marché des écrans tactiles reste très diversifié, avec différents types de dalles tactiles, à technique capacitive, ou résistive analogique, etc. Pour la première fois en 2010, les écrans à technique résistive analogique ont représenté plus de 50% des livraisons.

Selon le cabinet Display Search, le marché des modules d’écrans tactiles devrait passer de près de 4 milliards de dollars en 2009 à 9 milliards en 2015.
